Our Story
A legacy of faith serving Sherwood Park for generations
A Foundation Built on Faith
Wyecliff Bible Chapel has been a pillar of faith in the Sherwood Park community for many years. Our chapel was established by believers who were passionate about creating a place where the Gospel could be faithfully preached, where believers could gather for worship, and where the community could experience the transforming love of Christ.
From our humble beginnings, we have remained committed to the authority of Scripture, the centrality of Christ, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Our name reflects our dedication to the Bible—God's inspired Word—as the foundation for all that we believe, teach, and practice.
Over the years, generations of families have called Wyecliff Bible Chapel their church home. We've celebrated baptisms, weddings, and dedications. We've mourned together, prayed together, and grown together in faith. Through changing times and seasons, our mission has remained constant: to glorify God and make disciples of Jesus Christ.

Wyecliff Bible Chapel exists to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ through faithful biblical teaching, heartfelt worship, genuine fellowship, and compassionate service. We are committed to:

We desire to be known not just for what we believe, but for how we love—loving God with all our hearts and loving our neighbors as ourselves.
What We Believe
Our core convictions rooted in Scripture
📖 The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. It is our final authority for faith and practice, sufficient to guide us in all matters of life and godliness. We are committed to teaching and preaching the Scriptures faithfully.
✝️ The Gospel
We believe in salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. All who repent and believe in Him receive forgiveness and eternal life.
🙏 The Trinity
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, co-equal and co-eternal, yet there is one God who created, sustains, and redeems.
⛪ The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all believers. The local church exists to worship God, build up believers, and reach the lost. We practice believer's baptism and regularly observe the Lord's Supper.

We believe Christians are called to live lives that honor God, characterized by love, holiness, integrity, and service. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we seek to grow in Christlikeness and bear fruit for God's kingdom.

We believe in Christ's command to make disciples of all nations. This compels us to share the Gospel locally and support missionaries globally, proclaiming the good news and making disciples wherever God leads us.
Our Partnership with MSC Canada
Wyecliff Bible Chapel is proud to partner with MSC Canada (Missionary Service Committee of Canada), a national service organization dedicated to supporting and equipping assemblies across Canada and missionaries around the world.
Through our affiliation with MSC Canada, we benefit from:
